Playstation Home is an integral part of PS3 and its quite underused amongst the local community, I can also see why. It is boring at times and just a gimmick you check out once in a while. (Though things have durastically changed since the 1.3 update.)

You know what can change this though?  Trinis bussing a lime in Home.
So I propose a nice get together in home.
You all are invited to my Penthouse Suite, and we could get to know each other alot better. From there on we can all travel to the different Game Spaces in Home and simply have a good time.

Start by adding me, “The_Apprentice” and we’ll organise a nice lime in Home.
I’d like to have one as early as tonight but we’ll see how it goes. (Sunday 8th November at 6pm)

At the end of the day, the goal is to have a nice tight knit local community for gaming on PS3.

So please visit the forum thread:

and post what time you think would be best for this lime and lets get this rolling.

Tenchu2WallpaperTenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins may be a very old game to nearly all gamers today, but to me, this is a classic game that I won’t ever throw away. If the game’s magnificent storytelling didn’t keep you locked in for hours, then its in-game Mission Editor would most definitely do the trick.

In a similar fashion to the PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet, the game’s Mission Editor mode allows you to create your own scenario, environments, and enemy-paths and save the completed level to your PSone Memory Card. You can then ‘share’ this file with others via the old transferring method of Memory Card to Memory Card.

Now, to the point. I have created 15 quality stages for the game together with 12 Boss Battle missions and I have placed all these missions as files on my site: Seiryuki’s Creations. While it may be easy to download the missions, transferring them to play from a USB drive depends on what system you would be playing the game on and what method of transfer you would be using. You can find more information on transferring the saved files on my website.

I know that 2009 may be about 5 years too late to be sharing my missions for a PSone game, but hopefully this title would be released on the PSN sometime and maybe we can see a rebirth of the game’s user-generated content. But at least I’ve finally got my missions up for the rest of the world.

Questions or comments regarding the game or my missions can be posted on my website or on the PSNTT’s forums. And I hope to see some old-style Tenchu fans looking to revisit Tenchu 2 through my missions.

Here are some screenshots from a few of my stages (don’t mind the graphics ^_~):

alertDissapointing news for all of us Trinis and Tobagonians. Yesterday PSNTT reported that Amazon.com was now taking purchases for Playstation Network goodies.
Historically Amazon.com has accepted all credit cards worldwide but it seems Sony has kept its trend and issued purchase restrictions on Playstation Store items.
In order to purchase from Amazon.com, you MUST have a Credit Card/Debit Card issued by a United States Bank to complete the purchase. Anxious Trinis trying to buy from Amazon.com in light of the news were greeted with the following message:

We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

So at current, the only methods for purchasing from Playstation Store are:
1.) Having a relative use their Credit Card and repaying them.
2.) Asking your Aunty from New York to buy you ah Cyard.
3.) Using an online option of buying PSN Cards such as www.MaximusCards.com
4.) Buying a PSN Prepaid Card at a local retailer (JK Entertainment, Gamez Plus etc..)

Note these options only apply if you have a “United States” PSN Account.
If your account is a Canadian one like mine, you’ll need to source the PSN Cards from, you guessed it, Canada.
Local retailers and many online “Code” sellers don’t stock Canadian PSN Cards at this time.
